Dear Edgeboro Family & Friends,

The Eagles are going to the Super Bowl! To celebrate and have a little fun with that, I have created a list of what I thought was the most popular mention of each team’s name in the Bible. Some names, like the Eagles, are mentioned multiple times in scripture, so I had to choose which verse to list. Other names, like the Cowboys and Packers, aren’t mentioned at all, so I had to find fitting substitutes—like stars and cheese. In some cases, I had to make some tough choices! Have fun exploring scripture with this list!

Bears – Hosea 13:8

Bengals (wildcat) – Isaiah 34:14
