Pastor Jodie grew up in the College Hill congregation where she was a Sunday School teacher, member of the Choir, Youth Group Leader and a member of the Board of Elders. She has spent three summers on the Summer Long Staff at Camp Hope in addition to 20 years (first as a counselor and then as Dean) on the staff for Jr High Camp, kids who have completed 7th and 8th grade.

Pastor Jodie’s Philosophy of Ministry is shaped by the beliefs of the Moravian Church as well as her lifelong journey as a child of God. She believes that our faith is strengthened by having an active role in the church family and joining together in fellowship and mission work with all of God’s children. She strives to foster an atmosphere of acceptance and warmth, where everyone is encouraged to explore their faith, ask the hard questions, and grow in their relationship with God. It is vital to the growth of the church to engage in acts of compassion, justice, and mercy, both in our community and around the world.
