Edgeboro Moravian Putz - Get Involved!

We are looking for some volunteers to lend some time to a worthy cause – the Putz!
No experience needed. Youth are welcome. Come and help for a few minutes or a few hours – it's up to you.
High school kids – earn community service hours by helping! Turn in an “Independent Form” at your school before volunteering. Questions? Contact Terri Long.

Newspaper Crumpling
Come help the Sunday school kids crumple newspaper for the putz.
Gloves provided – Refreshments served!

Craft Night and Final Layout of Putz
Come to make crafts; help with the final layout of the Putz; set-up of the Christmas Corner; learn to fold paper Moravian stars! Something for all ages. Dinner will be served. This is a wonderful fellowship opportunity for the entire church family and friends.

Invite your family and friends to worship with us at 10:45 am and then join us in Fellowship Hall for a showing of the Putz!

PUTZ HELP WANTED!!
Want to get involved? Here’s how…..
HOST/HOSTESS: If you’re a people person, here’s the perfect spot for you. You will greet the people, escort tours from bus to Fellowship Hall, read short passages at beginning and end of Putz showing, escort tours to Sanctuary and Christmas Corner, and talk with people while they view the displays.
CHRISTMAS CORNER ASSISTANT: You will greet visitors and assist them with their purchases, as well as direct them in the hallway, and assist with tours as needed. Karen Zaun would love to have you join her team!
PUTZ OPERATOR: You turn light switches on and off while following the Putz script and narration. Training/Refresher course – Sunday, December 5 following the Congregational Putz showing (approximately 12:30 pm). Contact Carole Schachter if you would like to learn how to operate but can’t make the December 5th date.
SANCTUARY VOLUNTEER: You will greet the bus tours as they arrive in our sanctuary, show a short video, and answer any questions they may have. Don’t worry if you don’t have the answers – direct them to someone else in the building or have them write it down with an address or email and someone will get back to them! KITCHEN HELP: Provide cookies and juice for the children’s groups, which are scheduled during the daytime hours. Call Claire Hahn for more information or to sign up.
To volunteer for any of these wonderful positions kindly see Carole Schachter or Karen Zaun. They will be in Fellowship Hall before and after each worship service in November. Go see them before they call you!!!
